After what feels like an eternity, we want to invite you to the first scientific congress in full presence. The occasion is the annual meeting of the Surgical Working Group for Endocrine Surgery (CAEK) of the German Society for General and Visceral Surgery (DGAV).
Endocrine surgery is one of the pillars of visceral surgery. The focus of this specialty is the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal gland and endocrine diseases of the gastrointestinal tract. Continuous innovations and further developments can be observed here, the significance and sustainability of which require critical discussion. The focus of the conference will be scientific sessions on current topics, overview presentations by renowned experts and practice-oriented discussion groups.
We have chosen the House of Technology in the center of Essen as the conference location. With regard to the hotel industry in the immediate vicinity and the close transport links, ideal conditions are given. We look forward to seeing you at our conference in Essen at the beginning of November 2021.
